    They gave me counterfeit currency! I went to exchange dollars for Mexican pesos last month. When I tried to use a 200 peso bill at my hotel, they came back and told me it was fake. Sure enough, when you looked closely, the bill didn't have the holographic strip, it was missing the watermark, and it was ripped. Even though I was only shortchanged about $16 USD, you would think a currency exchange business would pay closer attention to its money. If you decide to change your money here, examine each and every bill before you leave.
