    Used TexanPlus Transportation Service to go to Dr visits and in less than 3 weeks, twice was scheduled to see physician and met all their requirements such as at least 3 business days in advance prior to appointment to arrange for transport and made sure had confirmation number for trip and representative’s name who had scheduled the trip. And when scheduled time for pickup arrived, no one showed up. When I called TexanPlus transport, the first trip ride that didn’t show up I was told ride would be there in 10 minutes and when still didn’t show up, was told they couldn’t locate the driver!! Then found out the driver on own initiative had canceled this trip so could not make other arrangements at that time as too late for appointment by then. Problem was I was extremely ill and needed to see the Dr TexanPlus knew this and still did nothing to fix the problem! When finally seen the next day and NOT by my own Dr as too busy so I had to see a Dr who didn’t know me, I was dehydrated, my blood pressure was bottoming out and all the lab values drawn that day turned out to be abnormal. The Dr wanted to hospitalize me but when retook my blood pressure it was somewhat better so let me go home. The second trip they again did not show up for, TexanPlus told me the driver again had canceled at 11:00 AM the day of 1 PM appointment but they failed to call me as stated “we didn’t have your phone number” They are told your phone number every time you place a call to them and clearly had my phone number. Again did not have enough warning to make other arrangements and had to cancel once again when Dr needed to rerun blood work as everything was abnormal last visit and now won’t refill medications until blood work done first. Had filed lengthy complaints after each incident with TexanPlus doing nothing to fix a dangerous issue as unable to drive and was denied access to care when have really needed it repeatedly. TexanPlus does NOT monitor it’s contracted services and they need to be held responsible for this!
