    It's really hard to find an honest mechanic. An honest mechanic that works on Volvos is even harder to find.

    I was going to the dealer for all my auto work, but I got really tired of it. It's not that the dealer ever lied to me exactly, it's just that every single thing they did cost a ridiculous amount of money, and they're always wanting to do maintenance that didn't seem to be necessary. Always nickel-and-diming me on everything.

    The folks at Southwest Auto we're all very friendly. Everybody I talked to there seemed to know what they were doing from the head mechanic to the person that answers the phones. They did the work they told me they were going to do at a very reasonable price (for a Volvo).

    If they find something else they need to do, they'll call you and explain the situation and let you decide if you want to get it done or not. They're also very good about returning calls - another oddity in the world of auto repair.

    I'll definitely be back.
