My family and I have been coming here for some time now with our pets since we live 5 minutes away, unfortunately after this recent event I wont be coming back. Came home from work one day to find my dog curled up in pain, acting very tired, and not whiling to go for a walk (which is very strange for her). It was about 40 minutes until they closed when I called this clinic to visit with the vet at which time I was placed on hold, and then another receptionist told me that I should go to the emergency clinic because they will be closing soon. I was stunned. I argued with her that we live close by, and could be there in no time, but then I realized I was arguing with someone who obviously did not want me to come in. I had to drive an extra 20 minutes in traffic with my dog in pain to the ER and spend a ton of extra money to pay the ER fees instead of just seeing my regular veterinarian, simply because these people didn't want to deal with the possibility of staying late to help a client. Made me feel like this clinic is not looking out for the well being of my animals, and more interested in their own time. It really is a shame as this clinic is very close to my home, but when it comes to my pets nothing is more important then knowing they are seeing a doctor who values them as much as I do. Just for a comparison with a similar situation I had. My previous clinic was "My Family Vet", and again my dog was showing weird signs so I called to schedule a visit with my dog asap. The clinic was packed solid, but they still took me in to xray, and test my dog in between client. There was never even a mention of "No we can't fit her in." That is the kind of service I expect from a veterinarian clinic whose sole purpose is to help animals. I wont be coming back, and have urged my family to do the same. Very unfortunate as I have not had an experience like this at this clinic before. Something like this to me is unforgivable.
